Long Story Short is a newly formed production company subsidiary of Iconic Films LLC, an award winning multimedia production company based in Los Angeles, California.
Founded in 2012, we have produced work
spanning the gamut of, short films, television shows, music videos, commercials, and virtual reality content, with a specialization in 3 core content competencies: Automotive, Action, and Adventure/Travel.
Our videos have been viewed by millions across paid cable programming, movie theaters, broadcast television and the internet. Apart from being recognized as a finalist on HBO’s latest season of Project Greenlight, we also recently won ‘Best Travel Video’ from Condé Nast Traveler.

We’re not just limited to short films, commercials and travel videos. We also do Virtual Reality 360 content, interactive content, marketing displays, public service announcements, and much more more.
Photography
Moving pictures are our forte but we also love still photography, behind the scenes set photos, and everything in-between. Be it in front of or behind the camera, we've captured it all.

Cofounded by Brian L. Tan “BLT” in 2012, we have since grown to include several other talented members.
Brian L. Tan
Director
Brian L. Tan “BLT” started off working on Tron, X-Men, and Girl with the Dragon Tattoo before pursuing directing. He was a Top 20 finalist on HBO's Project Greenlight, and won Best Travel Video with Conde Nast Traveler. His directing has taken him to 110+ countries and ensures he has a constant stream of unique experiences to stay inspired.
Emily Oeller
Creative Producer
Emily is a creative producer, with a background in documentary filmmaking in New York City. She moved to Los Angeles to expand her Producing portfolio in 2013 and in 2018 moved to London to pursue a corporate film career. She is an in-house producer for a fin-tech company and has produced more than 30 pieces of digital content.
Nick Fullen-Collins
Producer
Nick Fullen-Collins has spent the bulk of his career working for HBO in the Talent Development department where he helped bring the Emmy award winning film Bessy to life. On top of working with talent such as Martin Lawrence, Queen Latifah and Will Smith, Nick also runs his own company - Artistic Vision Entertainment.
